don't rain on my parade

i know i wrote some time back that i'm not going to have a party for my birthday but as it turns out.. i am! i'm so freaking excited. i'm not sure how it happened but my mom came up to me one morning and asked if i wanted to throw a party for my 21st birthday! i mean wot's a girl to say to that offer!? (:

save for a few, everyone has been very supportive and coming out of the woodworks to help me plan this event (i'm calling it an event! haha!). my cousins are especially wonderful. they're helping me plan this. so basically at this moment, everything from food to dj & console to the theme of my party has been confirmed. one thing isn't confirmed yet tho, and i'm really nervous about this, the venue! we're still going back and forth over where we want to have it. we initially wanted to have it at my cousin's penthouse or poolhouse but we decided not to, considering the fact that it'll be too leceh to plan it there!

oh.. i cannot wait! it's a themed party and it's "filthy/gorgeous". i'm just slightly apprehensive as to whether my guests will come fully dressed to the theme of the event. i'm so psyched about it! i can't wait to see all my friends again. i've been going to sooo many of their birthdays and not once have they been to mine and i almost feel bad! but not anymore tho.. i'm throwing a party and they are all invited!

oh we went to JB to purchase the cake.. we placed our order last saturday for Secret Recipe's moist chocolate cake. it costs a whopping RM256!! about S$120. it's a big cake so we felt that it'll save us ALOT of money to just place an order for my cake in JB. it's soooo worth it and i hope everyone will love the cake. we tried a few cakes but settled for this one. it'll have my name scribbled in pink! hehe.

i'll check back again with more updates and details for the party. i can't wait!!!!!
