of siblings and support.

i just picked up a call. some caucasian with a hot tamale sounding voice was returning a call to my mother's first son. i believe it is something about a job he was applying for.

my second brother and i no longer speak of my mother's first son. not that we're all high and mighty. but because we're sick and tired of his humbuggery. let me give you a 411 on my mother's first son.

he's 32 and still single. sent to AussieLand to go get an academic certificate (i.e. degree in Mass media and Communications) and after spending a grand total of 8 years, came home with nothing. zilch. not even a marriage certificate. right up till now, he's unemployed and living under the same roof as his parents. no sense of responsibilities. no sense of shame. free-loader. in terms of a love life. i think he has one. however, how one can actually fall in love with a baffoon like him is beyond me. nonetheless, he has had his fair share of girlfriends. intelligent and pretty to boot. which never fails to make me wonder - what the hell is wrong with girls nowadays! it's no wonder i'm gay.

my mother's first son has had girfriends whose socio-economic status are more often than not higher than ours and whose academic achievements are admirable by all standards. let's go through some.

a. misha(at least i think that's her name!). daughter of a rich investment banker. circa early 90s.

b. pearl. daughter of one of the SIA's board of directors. Humanities Scholar from Victoria Junior College. PSC Scholar and a degree holder. circa late 90s

c. charmaine. lives in one of the katong bungalows. i've no idea who her father is or what he does but her place of residence sure rings the "ka ching, ka ching" bells! degree holder from Wellington University in Arts, double majoring in Economics and English Literature. Graduate with a 1st Class honours in English Literature. circa early 2005 and still going on.

with that i am really baffled. how is it that these smart and rich "daddy's little girls" actually fall for him?! what's even more baffling is that the current one is a first class honours student in English Literature!! my dear charm, for a lit student you are not very perceptive are you? not even very discerning! you should turn in your first class honours certificate! BAH!

about a week ago, i found myself at a loss. actually, i found out that i've lost my atm card. it came as a surprise to me because i don't lose anything to do with money! (i'm a struggling National Slavery man, it's hard to make money!). so when i updated my account book and to make a new card i found out that there has been some movements in my account. dubious! so it has been stolen rather than lost.

-cut the story short-

IRRITATING! my mother's first son stole my card!! you know how pissed i felt?! f-r-e-a-k-i-n-g--p-i-s-s-e-d! so we had a family emergency meeting. discussing about his life and what the hell was he thinking stealing my card!? doesn't he know that hell hath no fury like a gay man's scorn!? his reason for stealing floored me. he told me he wanted to leave this house and live on his own (commendable if you look at his age, but still stupid!) and that before he leaves, he wanted to make everyone hate him. what nonsense!? it's so stupid. and thus i still have no idea how he gets smart girlfriends when he is daft as hell! well my second brother issued him a challenge to shape up or move out, of which he took up.

so today, i guess he's shaping up. some caucasian man called for him. and he gave a yell of excitement. i guess he was given an interview slot or something, or maybe a job.

i'm happy for him, no? i mean i still cannot stand him and i really can't be bothered about what he does with his life (as long as i'm not affected!) but i guess this is a step to enlightenment. i really hope he gets this job, change his attitude and behave like a 32 year-old brother of two that he is suppose to be!

-fingers crossed-
