i use to scorn and look down at gay men who are desperately seeking a boyfriend.. like as if that's the only thing in life that matters. as if, having someone to be by your side is your raison d'etre. it's crazy to think that the concept of love is so odd. that even when we have everything, it really means nothing if you don't have someone to love. i use to laugh at comments such as these. how ludicrous that your very success depends on whether you love someone and have someone to love you back. hah!
