anyway, i don't know why but the whole day yesterday, i could not blog. i guess everyone was writing about national day! in which case... HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE (albeit a day late!)

meanwhile, at the national day observance parade on monday in ALTI (my camp), COL Wong (comd ALTI) made a remark about Singapore having only her people as her natural resource.

COL Wong: We should stay in Singapore to help our country progress froward to a brighter and better future. Forget about migrating or moving to another country to "try a new life". why be a second class citizen and be treated like one when you're a singaporean and will always be a citizen of this country?

Me to a friend: obvously he's never been a malay!
